Made on single-family farms identified by the numbers printed on each wheel of cheese. Truffle Gouda comes exclusively from Farm 149. This farmstead cheese starts out like traditional Boerenkaas (raw milk farmer cheese), until black truffle shavings are generously added to the curd prior to pressing. Intensely truffley, this is not only our most popular truffle cheese, but also our most popular gouda. Its texture is semi-soft and creamy with balanced flavors of sweetness, earth and truffle.
